MAG524w3 is a reliable set-top box powered by Linux OS (version 4.9). The MicroFusion design allows the device to fit harmoniously into any interior.

MAG524w3 is 25% more powerful than legacy models. This device is driven by an Amlogic chipset which ensures high performance and requires no rebooting for several months. The set-top box offers smooth UI and content playback.

The media player supports various video formats, including 4K content at 60 fps. The HEVC codec ensures seamless operation: this technology enables you to stream high-definition content even with slow Internet speeds.

The model is equipped with an Ethernet port and a built-in dual-band Wi-Fi module. With a wireless connection, it offers up to 100 Mbps in 2.4 GHz mode and up to 550 Mbps in 5 GHz mode. Users can choose the most convenient connection type for them: wired, which provides a stable Internet connection, or Wi-Fi, which allows users to place the set-top box in any convenient place without worrying about the location of the wires.

External drives, mouse, keyboard, headphone, and other peripherals to MAG520w3 can be easily connected as the set-top box has USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports.

The media player supports eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ sound to ensure viewers get an immersive experience and feel like they are in the scene.
